Correct Engraving Plastic

Gah, plexi is no good, drilling holes just shatters it, and it takes too long with a drill, so here's my alternative...Engraving plastic. I can't find the right one though...can someone link me to the correct one on the site Ben introduced us to.

What kind of plexi are you using? The stuff at Home depot/Lowes is pretty crappy. What you need is some good stuff. Link. I use this acrylic all the time for computer cases and what not. When you drill plastics like plexi and acrylic you need to do really slow with a backer. It also helps if you have access to a drill press. They do make special acrylic bits but I usually use plain metal bits.

I've done fine with plexiglass in the past..?
How thick is the stuff you're trying to drill?
Unless it's really heat resistant somehow, you should be able to easily drill through it.

Try taping the plexiglass, it should hold it together. Just put a piece of packing tape over the spot where you're gonna drill.

Nah, my main difficulty is that I'm low on budgets and sawing it shattered it to hell, and don't want to buy a dremel. Rekarp, I know about that site silly

Im pretty sure its this stuff here. 2-ply is probably the stuff to get.
