Reproduce the SNES?

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

Timmeh87: I'm thinking of getting a Cyclone II FPGA Starter Development Kit for ~$150. Not too bad on price, and it'd be useful for a few other future projects I was thinking of.

I doubt you'd ever fit an entire SNES on it, but you could use it to replace discrete logic, or better yet, only the custom chips in the SNES (APU, etc). Not sure if it'd fit though.
