No video?

Post by Rellizate »

I'm not sure if this is the right place, so correct me if I am wrong.
I wired up the PSone motherboard to the PSone screen. It worked ok. I turned it off, went to get my psone screen speakers. Plugged the speakers in, turned it on. The music now comes on, but there is no picture. The backlight comes on aswell though. When I move the screen, the picture gets horisontal lines on it, and the backlight sometimes flashes. I put my thumb on it while it was turned on, and the backlight flashed. I think when I put my thumb on it, I shorted it out.

Is that possible? Fixable?

Sorry for double post. I looked at it, and it turns out I bypassed the component labed either CI17 or C117. It's right at the topleft next to the plug with OK written on it. I'm not sure what that thing I bypassed is though... Any ideas on how to fix it?
