They all look amazing and I'm definitely getting Karous and Trigger Heart Exelica. Not sure about ordering Last Hope yet, I like Vert SHMUPS a lot more than the horizontal shooters.
yeah i really want korous but it wouldnt play on my pal dc and im not in the mood to get a mod if i can find a decent boot disk that would allow me to play japanese stuff ill but it. but its questionable the amount of copies theyll be able to supply considering sega quit gdrom manufacture. kinda like when they dumped saturn support... ahhh sega what ever will we do with you

if you click the names it goes to a pre-order at play-asia. I suppose it is technically homebrew, but I consider "homebrew" a free game that some guy made in his free time. These were made by companies (no matter the size of their employees, like the Alien Hominid company has like 8 employees or so).

alien hominid was definitely not homebrew. are you sure there were only like 8 people if so that makes that game own even more. i wish more companys would make run and gun 2d shooters for the modern systems because i want a decent contra game for the ps2

If I came off as Alien Hominid was homebrew, thats not what I meant. I meant to say that the companies that made these games are prolly in the same vein as Behemoth. I read an article about them in a magazine (possibly Game Informer). There's a bunch of article links about em here.
Yea I saw these on play asia, believe it or not the Dreamcast looks to be coming back, aparantly there is a big enough market in Japan for small companies to get a foot hold in Dreamcast programming, I hope this will expand into something great
List of Acceptable "Greats"
1) The Dreamcast comes Back and makes Sony go BOOM!
2) SEGA manages to actually pull off a Dreamcast 2
3) Many New Dreamcast games come to the US
4) Revival of the Naomi, or expansion rather
5) Dreamcast Add-on homebrew extravagansa!

Sorry to break it to yah but Sega doesn't make the GD-rom discs that the Dreamcast uses anymore Link
I do wish Sega would come back to the hardware spectrum of gaming and beat sony off with a bat. Then we could go back to the Nintendo/Sega wars again. lol
