Also i just got an idea if this does work maybe we could use a pc as a bridge between xbox and ps2 to play xbox against ps2 online that would be really cool dont you think I mean if it were possible.

As the PS2 and Xbox use different online gaming servers, they can not play against people using a different console.

As for the PC bridge.... its possible as but its either going to be extermly hard or they will just be too different to work together.

Well FFXI has its own server that requires constant upkeep. Other then that the PC version isnt supported (fell of the face of Earth after like a month). I will admitt that is one of the few contradions but FFXI was to be quite revolutionary.

For standard games I just dont see them working it in. After all I just found out the PS2's chip is a 128bit I doubt its extermely compatable with something like the Xbox, without heavy software translating the info.

yes its not compatable directly twith the xbox but if you get a ps2 to connect to a pc and an xbox to connect to a pcand they're both plaing the same pc using it as a bridge i think it would work it might be a little laggy but it should work if they can both connect to the same pc.
