Very Small Video Projectors
Hello all, there has been a question bugging me that google won't produce a satisfactory answer for: Are there any video projectors that produce an image that is only 10" - 20" inches diagonal? If so do they also have correspondinly small size and low power requirements? Any information you have would be most welcome.

The hope was to use it for portable aplications like showing video from a camcorder or off a PVP or a PDA, thinking the whole thing (projector+battery) would be more compact than an LCD with the same image size.nitro2k01 wrote:Just a question, what's the use for it? You could make one out of a small portable tv a 1wat luxeon LED and some lenses and mirrors
Why do you want shuch a small projection? for a portable game machine with projector instead of screen?
The unit would be small but its abit big it would be kinda like a cube more like a long square rectangle

It's not cheap or hi-res, but it fits the bill! It's an LED DLP, and it fits in the palm of your hand (4.85" x 1.85" x 3.85"). Although it says 120-240v AC, it can be powered by a 12v source through an input jack (or an optional battery). I'd love to have one, but I don't have the money.
It also has an extremely short throw distance (just over a foot gives you a 20" projection).
