New (PALOMG!) snes portable.

Things done:

1: spend two hours opening. (i'm getting a gamebit)

2: Jumped power switch

3: rewired huge capacitor

4: rewired 7805. (is it okay if I bolt it to the ground plate?)

Things I'm gonna do.

1.Get rid of the extra controller board by wiring controllers directly to motherboard. (theres only a resistor on there, can somebody confirm it's for the led?)

2. desolder av ports, and the expansion port

3. get and wire up screen

4. Design and make a nice case in technology lab at school.

(ps. is somebody willing to donate me one of these radio shack STYLE desoldering bulbs? The ones with the bulb and iron in one)

Maybe you need to look at his location a bit closer. The netherlands and UK are very far apart...

Yes and desoldering irons aren't available in Europe. Or at least not anywhere I've looked. All they have are these stupid little pumps.

Oh well whatever. :p

Also, the pumps are much better then the desoldering irons. They are cheaper. You can't burn yourself on them. You don't have to wait for them to heat up. And they take much more solder in, then irons.

Update!

I wired the controller to the board. (WE DON'T NEED NO ADDON BOARD!) and got rid of the coax plug board thingie. I think i'm keeping the av port though. It's so small I can easily work it in.
