Money Making Help

I need help making money (as in earning it for doing work, not how to print my own). I used to mow my neighbor's lawn, but now that he has moved I have almost no source of income. I've been thinking about doing a paper route, but I would rather do something that pays a bit more and doesn't require me to get up early.
So I've been thinking that hacking stuff and selling it would be good, but I can't really think of anything that would make a profit.
What do you guys do for money, or what ideas do you have for earning it?

You can fix people's computers if you're a computer wiz. There are a lot of people 50+ who get spyware and don't know how to set up a wireless network. Give them your help. Put up notes wherever you can, and if you're good the word will spread mouth to mouth. That's what I'm doing in my neighbourhood, and it gives a little extra dough.
Learn how to do web design. While you won't get money tomorrow, if you're a talent, you can add a note to your page that you do jobs, and maybe someone will be interested.
Myself I've been buidling small sound effect devices and showed toi my friends, and some them got interested and wanted to buy pieces. That's not for everyone of course, but generally speaking it might be an idea to sit down and make a list of what you're good at, and then see what things people can be willing to pay for.

Oh ya, I forgot the tech support idea. I should get another PC with XP on it and give it viruses and mess it up so that I can learn how to fix it. I'm also taking a web design class this semester (well, the one that'll start on Wednesday), so if I turn out to be really skilled with that, it could be an option.
I think I'll do the paper route, and use the money from that to cover the overhead for other stuff, maybe xbox modding or PC building.

If you really want to give it a try, don't just follow the course, take your initiatives, look for information on your own. For every assignment you get, try do do it to 150%, eg try to do things in other ways than you're supposed to. (Example: When you're supposed to do something in Dreamwaver, do it by hand in notepad) Not only do you have a chance to impress your teacher, more importantly you'll learn things. (But keep the original solution easy at hand, if your teacher is picky)
Another thing you can do is start blogging, but that depends on how good a writer you are and how many interesting things you have to tell. But if you can keep it somehow professional, it might be a good merit later on.
Ok, maybe it's above your ambition level, but I'm just writing straight out of my head.

If you are in high school, try to find an ad that is looking for someone to do a little yard work, or landscaping. I found a job out like that at my church. Then once your done ask them if they know anyone else who might be needing a little yardwork being done, that is, if they liked you. That's what i did and she said yeah i have a few friends, and I've been doing that stuff for two summers 7 dollars and hour untaxed. An idea....
And all if you like doing yardwork too.

its what i do, but it depends, how old are you?

cos that could limit the usefulness of seeking employment, most places dont accept people below a certain age

Wander around your local highstreet/mall/shopping place and just ask everywhere and anywhere if they're looking part time staff

As for me, i work in a pub

You should have no problem finding a job then

However, it is a long a frustrating search but it does pay off in the end, i went round nearly 30 places before i found a job, just print up a whole wad of CV's and wander round and give them in everywhere
