VHS because it's recordable and very common. (Plus, it's what I grew up on. A lot of the cartoons and shows we all know and love came on VHS. *hugs old home recording of a Christmas special from 1993... with commercials!*)

I'm partial to BetaMax, but that's because I own a camcorder and three VCRs that use that format. I'm also all to ware that until the S-VHS format debuted, BetaMax was better quality.

I've only seen Laser Discs once in school (5th grade), so I can't really compare the quality. Not the mention it took like 15 minutes for my teacher to get the damn thing to have english audio, run at the right speed and have no subtitles. Like an over complicated DVD movie.

VHS I hate, I have the whole Evangelion series on VHS (from cousin) and the first tape is terrible. Just too worn out and oh the only format it'd be worth putting it in is SVCD.

wow pretty much the same thing i wouldve said except the only time ive seen laserdiscs was in sixth grade but my teacher had the same problems

LaserDiscs FTW! (Cheats got something on LaserDisc! What ever happened to the Laserdisc? Everything's better on LaserDisc!)

I just bought Star Wars 4 & 6, Gandhi, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Raiders Of The Lost Ark & Temple Of Doom (to complete my Indiana Jones LD collection), all on LaserDisc! The some of my older CAV LD's have suffered from some not-too-serious laser-rot, but other than that, they look PERFECT!

I've also got Silence of The Lambs, Bevis & Butthead Do America, The Last Crusade, Monty Python & The Holy Grail, RoboCop, Total Recall, Cliffhanger, & Blade Runner (still sealed!)
