If I could get hands on with it, I could probably solve the problem. But since I can't (Unless you just happen to live near Stockholm, Sweden) I could need a photo or something like that.
Another thing you could try doing is to draw a picture of what you've built, without looking at the schematic. (So it'll be as faithful as possible to your circuit)

This is a picture of the front of the controller

This is the soldering job on the back. The yellow wire from the plug is not soldered on in this picture but it is on there when testing.
