Slimming down the GC

okay...i decided not to go down the portable road, but instead find a way to sliim down the GC...like small as the wii or even smaller. I need some help in what materials to use for the case, and what can i get rid of. This GC has no mod chip, gameboy player nor a broadband adapter so i dont need the serial ports.

I think the most you could do is cut ~2" off of the height by repositioning the power supply and thinning up the disc drive.

umm...what do i take out on the disc drive? these plastics? and also would i need more than air vents? one for the fan other on the opposite side? because on the original had two vents...and im sort of lazy to make two vents...so im wondering if it's really necessary to have two vents?

I remember that EnterTheHatrix was doing somthing like this a while ago (He called it the Gamecube Micro.) You could PM him about it.

couldn't one thin the GC by pancaking it out? what I mean repositioning the daughter boards...
