Zelda Retrospective: Twilight Princess?

Post by Kurt_ »

Wazs there ever a part 7 of the zelda retrospective released that showed where TP fits in to the zelda timeline?

Part 6 was titled "the end my only friend, the end," which leads me to believe not, but was there?

It's a sophisticated way to saying "looking back on past Zelda games".

I haven't played LoZ TP, I've seen a few video previews but not much on the game. As for the other LoZ.... Well I've played a little of Link to the Past and OoT. OoT in the only one I've beat. I think both are pretty cool, but I can't say much more, I'd have to emulate them (eww!) or go and buy an SNES/N64 to play one.

i have LoZ: TP for Wii, pretty awesome :) it has really intuitive controls and amazing graphics, easily topping the best graphics of Xbox/Ps2...about the timeline, i could not explain because i see zelda as one of those game where it's the same bike but different colors, but a bike that is always fun to ride :o (Example, Mario, Princess Peach gets kidnapped, LoZ, Zelda amd Hirule is in trouble)...anyways it's a great game overall

finally got motivated again to start a portable, which i have...but with many doubts :S

Erm... Ganonbanned was on the right track. I do mean that (4th post). Was there one of THOSE released that showed where TP fit into the timeline?

No, there wasn't. Not based on playing Twilight Princess. It ended with "will TP make or break these timeline theories?"

He knows that. He's asking if there's been one since that time with an updated timeline based on what happens in Twilight Princess. And as far as I know, there hasn't been. But I hope there is eventually. That whole series of videos was very entertaining (especially the last timeline one).

Edit: Here and here are two threads on Game Trailers (the site who made the videos) asking about a seventh part. Also, here is the original thread discussing the retrospective on their forums, with recent posts. If anyone's bound of get a response, it'll be in one of those threads. I agree with what one of the people in those threads said about them probably waiting on Phantom Hourglass before releasing a new updated timeline.
