tv sound

Hi,
I've got a problem with my Tv/Xbox you see my Tv's sound works but its very quiet. I have a solution for while I am watching Tv but when im playing Xbox the sound gets drowned out (They are darn noisy). So I was wondering if i could make a box that I can plug the xbox cables into to make the sound

If your TV has a headphone-out jack you can just use a set of amplified computer speakers for sound.

If not, find something that will amplify a line-in signal (home stereo, boombox, etc) and acquire the right cable to go from the RCA male connectors on the Xbox A/v cable to what-ever the line in on your line in amplifier uses for the line in signal (3.5 mini jack, RCA female, etc.)

You should also check your wires. I have some that don't look any different from normal audio wires, but the connectors apparently don't connect good enough so there's lots of noise and the sound I want is really quiet. Check that out.

I have something similar with a lousy video cable. I get funny lines when I use the cable. I was screwing around with my A/V switch thinking that was the problem for quite some time, until I realized it was a crumby cable. So, yeah, I'd imagine the same thing could happen with audio.

Uhhhh (oh look at me capitalising my uhh) my tv's sound is dead (i have an xbox in my room (im a kid)) and i dont have a stereo, the best i've got is a clock radio next to my bed.

So im pretty shure the moral of the story is for me to get a new tv
