Most CDs have a limit of 702MB, however about 100MB is hidden from us for error correction code. When you go into the burning program, go to the configurations section and enable over-burning, if there is a limit set it to what you think is safe enough for you image to be burned. Set up the project and make sure to run a simulation first, you don't want to waste a disc because of a simple configuration mistake.dudex77 wrote:alright i now have files for shenmue 2 i extracted them and everything and then realised they are all just over 700 mbis there anyway i could condense the file but still have it readable by the dreamcast?

Nero 6.2.3.22 lets me burn a CD-R up to 705MB. Just curious, did you rip the CD using a PC CD-ROM drive, or a PSX and the gameshark that connects into the PC.

Umm.. I'm pretty sure he didn't use a PSX, considering Shenume 3 is a dreamcast game and this is the dreamcast forum.A_Username wrote:Nero 6.2.3.22 lets me burn a CD-R up to 705MB. Just curious, did you rip the CD using a PC CD-ROM drive, or a PSX and the gameshark that connects into the PC.

umm.. shenmue 3 isnt a dreamcast game its not a game at all actually as far as i know. well here all the details for you people to help me out with this i have the latest version of nero whatever that is. shenmue2 was originally a cdi file but i converted it to nrg with this program called cdi2nero. my friend sent me the file he probly just torrented it or something like that. the first disc is 722 mb once converted to nrg. i burned the disc without changing any settings of nero and when i put it into my dreamcast it shows the dreamcast logo then the sega logo then takes me to the dashboard. i have a pal dreamcast no idea what version and cant be bothered to find out what version it is because homebrew and other backups have worked before. ok so with that load of info can anybody guide me through to make this work with nero? im a total idiot with burning images so really down to the details is what i need. please dont just send me a link to the nero faqsbenol wrote:Umm..
