you've all seen g forces noac in a gbo casing right?
you've all heard of gamegrrl, right?
well instead of using the case suggested by the maker of gamegrrl, why not use a gbo case? it's got the same size screen specification and you don't have to cut anything. It's perfect, right gforce?

yah on the site that used to have instructions to mak e a gamegrrl it even some peoples who made theirs in gbpocket and gbc cases as well though they werent as cool as gforces because they lacked the cart port

yeah, but then after making the gamegrrl, you can add the cart port using gforces documents.

You know what I think would be awesome? Make the unit but instead of using a cart port install a header with the pins you need and then make an "expansion" thet would plug into the header and would have either a 72 pin cart slot or a 60 pin famicom cart slot. If you carry the unit in you pocket but you aren't going to bring any carts with you, then you just unplug the cart slot expansion. This way you could make a removable cart slot so that you could have a tradeoff- small size with built in crummy games, or bigger/thicker but can take cartridges. I'll maybe draw a picture of what I mean here in a bit.

yeah, that would be hard. the gbc has casing that can barely support any other space. Truth time- i've never opened my GBO before. it's true. it's because of those annoying tri wing nintendo screws. I want to open it so badly, but i'll have to wait for a screw driver from ebay. I could use ben's method of breaching them, but I don't want to damage the GBOs casing with a melted pen,the screw holes are too deep, and my dremel probably can't pierce the steel of my screwdriver. I'm pretty sure the GBOs casing can support the NOAC board, 'cause i've whipped that thing open more often than the amount of hydrogen the sun burns up per second, and the board is micro nano super small sized. By the way, how is project west going?
