Good Keyboard?

I'm looking for a keyboard (the music-making kind) that has all the normal features (lots of sounds and such to choose from, etc.) and a few other things I'm sure should exist by now:

1) Multiple record: A feature that allows you to record what you play, then record again as you play along to what you recorded. Kind of like this:

Record 'A'
Play 'A' while recording the new 'B' into 'A'
As a result, both 'A' and 'B' play when you play the recording.

Alternately, anything that can play 2 or more user-defined/programmed things as you play another will do just fine.

Also, the instruments must remain as they were when recorded. I've played some old keyboards that when you stop recording and change an instrument, both the recorded track and the new thing you play change to the new instrument.


Ok, so I only needed 1 new thing. Anyone know of anything like it? In a not $5000 package?

I have a Yamaha PSR-225 that does just that, sounds pretty good, and is probably really cheap used. It supports MIDI too.

Hit up eBay and check for it.

The Yamaha PSR-295 will do all that. I have it, it's great!
