psone screen problem

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Well even as an electrical engineer I only have limited remedies.
1- it's possible you might have overloaded the backlight bulb when bypassing fuse f2. can't imagine why though.

2- you might have to do an led mod. if the bulb circuitry is overloaded, then you might as well do so as it is better and energy efficient.

3- I will post directions on how to do the led mod.

4- I can't help you turn on the backlight from florida so I just have to say that you might not even have voltage goin g to the bulb as bypassing f2 could have done something wrong(can't imagine why though.)

5- I suggest the led mod and buying the book noted as it will tell you how to do it.

6- do you need some leds? I'll tell you where to get some

EDIT: I couldn't get on the computer last night so that's why it's delayed.

It's just that good, isn't it ben?
I'm just too lazy to have to draw pictures and write up a manual.
and what other book tells you how to led mod a ps1 screen?
And this is only two forums underneath the book forum in the index.
It's fun plagirizing things, even though this isn't plagirism.
since this doesn't say trade mark of ben heckendorn, Does this mean I have to go to jail?
And to be on the positive side, prison has really good severed finger chili,
you should try it.

EDIT Oh all right...Hacking video game consoles is a trademark of benjamin j. heckendorn and benheck. com and any other non permitted use is illegal and can be persecuted with fines of 50,000 $ or prison
