New Year's Plans

Post by Sparkfist »

This New Year's Eve I'm kind of at a cross road. I have a friend that want to have a hotel party, and well I'm going to see how that works out to me specifically. Otherwise I'm going downtown where my city is going to have fireworks at 12 and likely see another friend and his daughter down there.

What are some of you planning? And please keep it clean.

New Years isn't that big of a deal anymore. It was neat when we were like 11 or 12, OMG GOTTA STAY UP TIL MIDNIGHT!! I do that every night so it has lost his appeal. I'll just do the norm.

Other than that just troll all of G2 posts and flood his PM box. He knows why.

Party at my house.

Literally :P.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

We're going to do the usual. Just a few board games, some chinese food, a pizza, and watch Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve.

Believe it or not, he's returning this year, co-hosting woth Ryan Seacrest. In 2004 he suffered a stroke, which left him needing to learn to talk again. He did a little commentary and the countdown on Dec. 31, 2005, but he was still very slurred. However, he was able to do a brief monologue at the '06 Emmys in August, and is apparently going to do the entire show this year!

Isn't medical science amazing?

Anyways, we never go overboard. A few years ago we made some clamcakes and fries in the slow cooker/fryer, but it just made a huge mess to clean up the next day. And, like wallydawg said, staying up past midnight is an everyday thing for me, so it's not that big a deal.

My family don't do anything on New years. We just watch Dick Clark's New Years Rockin' Eve.
Meh, I don't post much.
