Has anyone ever tried to consolize a portable?

I did a a quick search for "video out game gear". It yield this. The RGB mod seems to be what we all want and need. So now when I have money to burn I can see about setting the Game Gear screen/case mod as a second project (right after finishing that PSoneP).
