Battlefield 2142 won't uninstall

As the title says, i installed BF 2142 and now i want to reinstall it and it keeps giving me some error how it cant uninstall. So am i screwed or what?

Do a print screen or something so we can see what the error is.

That pops up if you try to uninstall it. I did a chkdsk and it fixed some stuff, but it's still doing that. If i must i'll just go into the Program files and delete it.

And yes, i tryed to reinstall. BF 2142 demands you uninstall before you install again

delete it, then run a registry checker, and let it move all invalid entries. Then you may need to delete anything pertaining to th egame.

delete it as in just goto the file its all installed to and delete it? And what registry checker should i use?

Use a total unistall program. Google.

The Game still thinks its installed and i can only uninstall it from the Add/remove programs and from the BF 2142 menu. Still gives me the same error. The Total uninstall thing doesn't do crap.

EDIT: I deleted the directory and removed it from the registry but the installer for 2142 still thinks it's installed. Maybe i need to restart?

EDIT2: Nope, restarting did nothing, altho it fixed some registry errors

EDIT3: Ok, i went into the registry and deleted all of the EA Crap. Now i'm loading the dvd. Ok, i clicked uninstall but this time it says that it is installing. Oh, ok, now its installing BF 2142 again, sweet!

EA are such a female of the dog species with the registry. Still cool that they make it easy to run the original command and conquers, in the decade's edition version, with one more parametre when calling the executibles lol.
