A tale of two consoles...

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

My mom and sister are waking up bright and early to go day after Christmas shopping, so naturally, I'm taking my GameStop credit along for the ride! But in all honesty, I have no clue what to get...

I know for sure a part of it is going to the Devil May Cry box set, I've always wanted to play those games in their entirety.

But what else? I just got a 360, and I already own a Wii; my first thought was naturally Oblivion, but then I saw Dead or Alive 4 and remembered my love of fighting games. N3 also looks cool, despite the bad reviews. And who could forget the Wii? Elebits looks cool, and so does Super Swing (LOVE golf) and Metal Slug Anthologies. Or how about giving the PS2 some more love? Okami looks stunning, and so does Valkyrie Profile 2 (never played the first one, though). Any advice, gamers?

Anyone else going day after Christmas shopping?

F***ing Signed. Great games for cheap. I like the unlockable content too.

If you want to have no life for a while get Oblivion. It is every bit as amazing as it has been made out to be. Since you are into RPG's and the like I think you will love it.

And I dont have the ds one so Ok!
But about oblivion, If you like fast paced RPG's or hack and slash all over the place its not for you. I got bored with it. However, if you like walking a lot and a completely non-linear world, go for it.

I picked up Donkey Kong Jungle Beat plus an extra pair of bongos for $10. Can you use the bongos for other games too? Trying to play Mario Kart with them would be pretty rad.

There was a pinball came that i know was in development, I am unsure if it was released, But when they where creating it they said that would be a feature.

Yet again I am unsure.

No, just the ones that you unlock with tokens. Haven't been able to play much though, I've been in boston.
