How do you put emulators on the Playstation?

The emulators have to be written specifically for the playstation. There are a few, I use a nintendo emu called It Might Be NES. You burn the roms and the emulator to a disk and then you can play it in a modded PSX, or you could always do the swap trick... Thats what I have been doing for years, until recently when I caved and got a mod chip...
