My Gamecube has no Audio

Ok it been like this for a year, but My Platinum Gamecube just Suddenly stopped outputting Audio. Its not the Cable I tried 2 Different cords (That work with my Black Gamecube) and I tried wiggleing the AV output and nothing, and the Video output Is Perfect.

What Is wrong? Is my Sound Chip/or Processor Fried?

I would Try the Digital AV output on it but I dont want to blow 40 bucks on Component Cables to the Gamecube.

swap the motherboards with your black one

then your limited edition will work

Thanks for the Suggestion, but I like my Black Cube better than my Platinum one. and Plus whe I move out I will have to give my brother 1 of the Gamecubes, and I know he wants the one with sound.

Did you try the black gamecube on the same tv to see if perhaps the tv is the problem?

Yes I tried Everything.

Someone Told Me that I may have to Jump the PSU, but I dont know How.

While building my GCp(s) I noticed that to have sound, you need to supply 12V to the GC motherboard. That might not be happening for your GC...

To fix it, you will have to "jump the fuse". To do that, just solder a wire from the positive input of the cable (on the psu) to the second pin from the right, with the pins on the lower left. Check it with a multimeter first, though, to see if there is any voltage across it and ground...if it's 0, then "jump the fuse" (I'm not sure if there is actually a fuse or just some component

...)

if it might be a PSU problem. then why not switch PSUs to see if that fixes it before you start busting it open?
