Cyberhome Portable DVD Player
I was given two portable DVD players (CyberHome ch-ldv 712). They both have very fixable issues but the person did not give me the battery or the power cord. I thought of restoring them to Portable DVD status but the cost of Battery and Power Supply would probablly cost me more than a new DVD player. Does anyone know if these are screens that I can use for hacking? Any way of running the DVD player off less than required voltage? Any advice at all?

Speaking of Portable DVD players, my brother brought on th eotherday on a christmas sale, down from £130 to £100, which is $180-200, but the screen looks almost like its lower res, and the pixels seem to be rectangular, with their height being more than their width, so it looks kinda weird.

Yes, it does have the option for audio in as well as video in. I know this means that I can probablly hook up a/v to it but I was hoping someone would see the screen and say, "Hey, I have used one of these before, here is how you do it." I have plans to take it apart and start tracing wires and such but did not want to do this until I was certain that I did not want to use it as a regular DVD player.
