pink monitor

The monitor on my computer all of a sudden started having a weird pinkish shading to it. Is it because my monitor is getting old and how can i fix it with minimal costs?

well, the cheapest, easiest option would be to make sure it is plugged in all the way. If it got bumped, one of the points may have been disconnected. Other than that, check the cable.

I know that this question is already answered but also magnets can mess up CRTs do to the way they work. Dont try this or it'll be there for weeks, but if you hold up a magnet to a CRT (monitor or tv) it will mess up all the colors.
