Good wireless router

Agreed. I've got this router, and it's served me well. Definitely the best router purchase possible IMO.

I have this router as well. It works great, but be sure to upgrade the firmware. Before we upgraded the firmware to it, we had some weird problems with the internet access randomly dying yet still working in some apps and not others. I've heard it's because of a Windoze update that changed some sort of internet security thing that doesn't play well with the WRT54G.

Everything we have that utilizes WiFi works just fine with it. I use my DS, Wii, and my dad's laptop with our connection, and ever since updating the firmware, everything's been fine and dandy.

I may sound like a broken record, but the WRT54G (or the WRT54GS) is a highly recommended wireless router. I use the GS model but it's basicly the same.

I have a crappy 2wire router that SBC sent us when my parents signed up for DSL. For some reason, it won't connect to my DS. Unless I change some obscure setting on it that makes nothing else connect to it. I think Nintendo is more at fault here, but I still don't like the router.

So I'd probably reccomend a Linksys router, since some guy a few houses down the street has one (the SSID is Linksys) I can connect to it fine from my house. So it seems like a nice router.

You really have to listen to the people here and get a Linksys WRT54G (or the WRT54GS like I have, there's not really a difference). It's pretty cheap, but very high quality.

Luck of the draw, Belkin can be fine, my WiFi adaptor is belkin, my router is netgear.
