Well i'm screwed...or am I?

As you might know, i'm building an N Gadget NESp and I think i'm done with wiring ( N Gadget AKA NES hand built from ben's book). So I plug in a battery pack and turn it on. Nothing happened. Everything looked in its proper position. What the hell is wrong?

first I need to figure out how to get photos on here...gee, that was n00bish...

Edit: pictures are coming, as soon as my idiot relative brings home my camera to USB adapter because she took it along with all the stuff I packed in my laptop bag thinking it was hers.

EDIT: sorry for the delay. my sister was in the hospital and had the adapter and didn't come home until recently.
