The movie was the worst movie I have ever seen!!! It made no sense what so ever! If you have read the book then don't see the movie cause I about cryed! anyone else see it? shed the light on what you think!

The movie looks a lot like the "Dragon Riders of Pern" book series.

From the previews, it seemed like another one of them over the top fake looking CG bombs. I think great special effects died about the time Jurrasic Park was out. Now a days its all horrible looking (for the most part) CG.

Don't get me wrong the CG was great it just lacked the right story line. The part where saphira (the dragon) was young was awsome looking. Bad story line and corny phrazes

Pern had some awesome, awesome art. There was also supposed to be an MMOG about riding dragons, but it got cancelled mid beta.

Was shaping up to be pretty awesome it looked like.

The movie got 11% on rotten tomatoes (movie review stie). Sad. Hollywood has an endless talent for turning good books into movies that reek.

Eragon was a good book? You have got to be kidding me. It was definitely great for a teenage author, but it reeks compared to many other books. It was one of the very few books that I just flat out stopped reading in the middle.

Havent read it myself, but I heard it has a decent fanbase, so I assumed it was good.

I was thinking more of movies like The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy when I made that remark. I just like to bag on hollywood for making junk movies that they know will make a quick buck and dissapear, only to be remade/turned into a sequel a few years later.
