Ooh, man... My eyes... No offense, but Paint + Windows Movie Maker != animation.

(Movie Maker is rather nooby in the first place...

)

You're off to a promising start! I'm sure there are other ways to produce animation. (A bunch of stills pieced together in QuickTime Pro ($30), perhaps. Or you could make a synchronized YTMND if you try hard enough.

yea...i dont have any better programs sadly.

So im stuck with windows movie maker and paint.

Worse part is-i know how to use flash,photoshop and a few more WAY better then i do paint and WMM.

i just dont own them

So is Paint. At school, I feel like crying in sorrow when I see kids in my Video Production 1 class using Paint when PhotoShop CS2 is installed on every single machine in the room. I ONLY use paint to save screenshots. (because it's easy on the RAM)

You can fix the MS Paint problem by using Paint.NET.

It's great. Since I don't have the space on the removable hard drive for my classes, I use it for splash screen production and other such work. It's better than Paint, cheaper than Photoshop, and easier to use than The GiMP.

(Though I do have to pull out GiMP Portable for converting images to .ico files...)

It needs the .NET framework version 2.0, which is free from Microsoft (and included in one of the download packages). Legal M$ development has never been cheaper, since they released Visual Studio 2005 Express for free to compete with Java.

(C#, VB, Visual Web Developer, and a few others aer FREE!)

What version of Flash is installed on your school's machines?

Actually, all you have do to change a file to a *.ico is bring the resolution down to 16X16 (Or 32X32 for things like an executable icon) & change the file extension. My website's icon is actually a GIF image (hence the animation in it)
