GAH! Computer techies... help please! (Wake-on-lan issues)

Why not just emulate NES games on your PSP or DS rather than build a portable.

That's no fun. I'd like to be able to learn from this, rather than give in and continue to do things how I'd prefer not to. Also, I want to have my torrent PC in a remote, out-of-the-way location... which isn't a place I'd like to have to walk to every time I want to start it up.

You could have it on all the time... If its impossible with your motherboard, you might just have to deal with walking across the room to turn it on.
