Question about Zenith 5" lcd for ps2

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Question about Zenith 5" lcd for ps2

Post by myersn024 »

I read somewhere that the Zenith screen doesn't have an external regulator like the original PSone screen does. If that's correct, how do you regulate the power to a SNES board?

That's what I needed to know. I can't remember where I read it, but I was under the impression that the Zenith screens has the regulator built into the driver board circuitry. However, if it is actually identical then it opens up the possibility of me using another screen since I don't want any surprises when working through Ben's book on my SNESP.
