I use my oven. Just stick the plastic sheet in (pinched between wood frames) and wait until it sags.

Do you think it would work to use a heatgun to heat the plastic until it sags and then turn on the vac?

doesnt heat evenly enough, i used one of those little electric gridle things, you can get that sort of thing cheap at goodwill usually

i was passively thinking about this before, and having no experience myself, i thought it might still be good to have a heat gun handy, to maybe help coax the cooling plastic into tight corners...

I think It is a good design but I don't like the tackle box idea. You will spend more on dremel bits(they break/clog easily and are very

expensive) and bondo than it would cost to make a vac form table with all the extras and you would still have enough money to buy plastic.

Ah, I can't talk. I still use a heat gun and a simple mold and just bend my plastic but it still gives better results than what you want to do

. I am working on a vac forming table plan (to make it better than everyone elses) and I have been shoping for a small elecectric grill.
