Radica ROM Chip problems...

Post by CronoTriggerfan »

I'm trying to use Ben's diagram to solder on a cart slot, but my chip has no grooves, writing, or distinct markings of any kind to distinguish where exactly I solder. This is the red V2 Radica with Sonic 2, Ecco, etc. Here are some pictures:

Has anyone else's Radica been like this? I'd appreciate it a lot if someone could tell me where the top and bottom of my chip match up to the top and bottom on the diagram. Thanks! :)

Just solder to the points, the corner pins on the ROM are labeled so you should be able to count...

 Mmmkay. I assumed I knew what was top and what was bottom, but I wanted to make sure.
