WTS/T M3 SD Pro (NDS/GBA Flash cart, Movie player thing)

Post by Kyosho »

I made the mistake of buying the wrong M3. Seeing as it took an entire month to get here, there's no way I'm sending it back and buying another from ConsoleSource. Slow bastages.

This is the "budget" version of the M3. The only difference between it and the normal version is that it can only play GBA roms up to 4MB. Which basically makes it useless to me as most GBA games are larger. Should still be perfectly usable for all the DS stuff (backup NDS ROMs, etc), and the Movie/music/ebook/image uses if you have a DS or a GBA. I bought an M3 because I wanted to play backup GBA roms on it, and since this one can't do it with most, it isn't very useful to me.

Now, I bought this for my GBA, so, I obviously didn't buy a PassKey or whatever they're called, that're needed for the DS. So if you get it for your DS, you'll need one of those.

I payed $42 plus shipping. I think about $50 in all. It was my mistake, buying the wrong version, and I realize I have to pay for that mistake. I'll consider any reasonable offers. I'll also consider trades.

Things I WANT:
A GBA flash cart that CAN play larger roms, but also has a "save state" type saving system.
Gamecube system
Gamecube Madcatz Microcon controller (loved that thing).
Gamecube games, providing I have an interest in them.
Portable stuff like batteries, screens, etc.

I'll also consider any other trades. Oh, and if you have a combination of of those things and realize my M3 isn't worth all that, I've got some other stuff I can trade as well. Except Hitman Contracts, on that list. It is currently in the process of being traded away.

I have a Gamecube!!! I'll trade!

Does this work on a DS? Like on both screens/not letterboxed?

EDIT: Oh, no Passkey... I'm hesitant now.

They're not too terribly expensive. Some companies make some pretty cheap ones (EZ FLASH in particular).

According to this, it doesn't support GBA roms either. :(

BUMP

I'll sell/trade a 2GB 150x SD card (and reader if needed), if that would help. Just make an offer.

Along with the M3 I mean. Not trading the SD card separately.

Okay, I might do it. How much to Passkeys or whatever they're called go for. And how far does thing thing stick out of the DS lite?

I'm not sure if this is the right model of M3 or not in this pic, but it was the best I could find on short notice.

Also, here's this image for reference compared to other carts/cards. It's the one in the middle (though the one I have is a clear grey instead of that platinum color)

Will edit in a moment with prices for passkeys or whatever.

Edit: Okay, so Passme devices (the better ones that are the size and shape of a DS cart and don't stick out all weird at angles and stuff) are around $30. Give or take where you get them, and what brand you get. Might want to do some research as to what kind will work on your DS. You have a Lite though, right? That should make things easier. I think the Passcard 3 is supposed to be the best one out there at the moment. But I'm not certain. Here's a review of it.

Edit2: If you're still considering trading the cube to me for this thing, I should let you know that I spent well over $100 on the M3, SD card, and reader combined. I can get a gamecube at Gamestop for $60. Or a new one for $70. While I realize I'm going to be taking a hit and that I won't get as much as I spent, I don't think a gamecube alone would be worth the M3, SD card, and reader. We might be able to work something out though.

GC game or two, controller. Or whatever
