divx/avi to mov Converter HELP!

Hey everyone, for a project at school i need to show some clips of a movie, and they are all divx avi clips. I need them to be .mov files so i can manipulate them in iMovie.

If anyone knows of any software (Free/Freeware only) that can do this for me, that would be really nice.

Anyway, thanks in advance

PS: I could also use a nice Animation program (To make a new animated userbar) The ones on websites dont let me use the pictures i have.

MediaCoder can go from XviD to H.264.

As for animation just get Photoshop 7 since that has Imageready.

EDIT: I seem to be having trouble. How can i actually make it so the clips arn't freaking 2 GB? What some good settings to use for MP4 or H.264?

Just make the bit rate lower. Make the audio in LAME.

When you say "Animator", if you mean a gif animator, I recommend GIF Movie Gear. It is so incredibly simple to use. Especially if you try the tutorial in the help file.
