Jump Ultimate Stars for the DS. It's like an anime Super Smash Bros but online, has a good 1 player side, and you can buy new stuff, and all kinds of things. :D

Magical Starsign for the DS. Fun little rpg, very bright, colorful, happy and funny. I'm about 6ish hours into it, and only stopped playing it to start playing Jump.

That's about it, the rest of my DS games I got this year were good, but those two are going to be my biggest timesinks in the video game department.

Elebits for the Weeeeeeeeeee is coming out here pretty soon. I don't have one, but Elebits looks just soooo awesome. You go around and have to move furniture and beam little aliens up, and its multi-player so the more friends you have the more furniture you can move and the more little guys you can try to find hiding. Looks like it'll be one of the top apps for the Weeeeeeee. Mmmhmm. Yup. Okbye.

no the story does not get any better. that is about the only flaw i had found in the game. the battle system and everything is awesome but the story is not as good as previous final fantasy games.

I haven't gotten any next gen units except the DS, but let's see what I can do...

Of course Gears of War would be up there. I heard people wet themselves with glee before, during and after playing the game. Speaking of the 360, Dead rising looked like a nicely done game. Fully interactive worlds are great for real immersion. The Wii got WiiSports and Twilight Princess. So yeah, there's that. Sony sucks so hard, I can't imagine trying to figure out what sucks the least there. Talk about your time wasters.

The DS got some great games this year. Elite Beat Agents was highly anticpated and met expectations all across the board (hmm, I should pick it up, I geuss). New Super Mario Bros. was well liked too, and I think I'm the only one who simply didn't enjoy it that much. Maybe I'm not a very good platformer anymore. DS Wfi got really great games this year from my all time Favorite DS Game, Metroid Prime Hunters to the 'last to the party, but center of attention' Clubhouse games. Tertis DS was nice too, but like NSMB, I simply didn't find it enjoyable enough considering it's hype. I felt the same for Brain Age as I did for (last's year's) nintendogs. Too much responsibility. It felt like a chore, and I gave up quickly. Hey, if ACWW could make chores fun, I don't want any excuses. And finally, Yoshi's Island DS rocked and I don't care what anyone says.

Yea I poured hours into ACWW and Harvest Moon DS. Games should not feel like chores/job/whatever. Completely defeats the purpose and I'll shut off any game and stop playing it as soon as it starts feeling like a pointless grind.
