Copying Psone games

Is it possible to copy a psone game?
Me and a friend of mine ought castlevania symphony of the night together when we were younger( Yes I know now that its a stupid idea) and now that I'm going to japan, I want to bring it but he doesn't like the idea of me bringing the precious game over to the other side of the world...
Any way to do that?
