internet browser screwed up

internet browser screwed up

a week or two ago, right around the time i updated firefox it seems like all flash and quicktime stuff has stopped working in my browser.

even in IE some quicktime wont work but youtube does for some reason, while in firefox nothing plays

its getting to be a real hassle, i have tried downloading shockwave8 multiple times from the adobe website, and the same with quicktime


i have also looked on the firefox add on pages and tried out grease monkey because it sounded like it would help to me

oh and i have already tried reinstalling firefox





any help would be appreciated :)

Youtube works no matter what you have/don't have. Maybe Quicktime only works perfectly on Safari. I use Firefox and occasionally Quicktime vids don't work.

YouTube = Flash != Quicktime

QuickTime works fine for me. I don't get why it would "only work perfect on Safari"; QT has been around ince the early 90s.

The only thing I can think of is to uninstall and reinstall Quicktime and the Flash plugin. Shockwave doesn't do anything for Flash; as far as I know they're still two completely different products.

Well, I just thought it might since Safari is an Apple product and so is Quicktime, which was just recently upgraded.
