Wii + USB Keyboard = ?

Will you be able to use a USB keyboard on the wii?

I hope so. Ive got a PC hooked up to my livingroom TV for web browsing, but ive been contemplating replacing it with either a Mac Mini or a Wii. If i can hook a keyboard to the Wii, that will do the job. Otherwise, mac it is. I dont think i could stand using just the pointer to enter web addresses.

Well im looking at my wii now and it has 2 usb ports so I think so.

Yeah I noticed that (YES I GOT A WII!!!) but I wonder what they're for. I can't get my internet on my Wii to work, so I won't be finding out any time soon.

I would image that they would have USB keyboard support is they don't have voice chat with most/all online games.

You can connect usb mass storage devices to those ports. I wonder if you would be able to connect any memory stick to it? They are really cheap nowadays...

Well you can do the same thing to the PS2/Xbox 360 and very likely the PS3. You just need to have the right file system so it can read the information. I would expect the XBox 360 to work with FAT32 or NTFS, the PS3 I'd expect to work with ext2/3. Really who'd know what Nintendo would use.
