I am so copulate mad right now! (a angry rant of sorts)

So its a week and a half to the Wii, I am at walmart and ask someone in the electronics section if they are doing pre-orders. He says no, "FIRST COME FIRST SERVED" I say "O so I have to get here at 1 in the morning" "No the first people to get to electronics can buy one!" Ok sweet sounds good, right?

Ok so I am support to be taken to walmart at 10:00 by my dad but he decies he dosnt want to go because he has to get up in the morning. Then at 11:35 my brother gets home and hes all "COME ON LETS GO GET A WII!!" I saw OMG YES THANK YOU!!

So we both rush to his car, he put the petal to the metal, turn on some rocking tunes, and get to walmart.

It is not 12:01 so I figure I can still make it so I run as fast as I can, but , I am not a gingerbread man...

I get to electronics NOBODY'S THERE? A few employees are there. They tell me that the Wii is at lay-a-way!

I rush over there to see a small line of 20 or so people so I figure! AWESOME IM NOT TO LATE!

I get to the counter and they say "Ticket please" I reply, "Ticket? What ticket?" Than they say "You had to get here at 6:00AM and get a ticket to get a Wii! "I was told you were not doing pre-orders" thay say "We are not, you had to get here and get a ticket!" I reply "THATS A TYPE OF copulate PRE-ORDERING!!!!!!!" Now I am so mad want to punch somone... I am about to go off on the people there when a cop walks up and asks me to leave... He has a gun so I leave...

I walk outside, open the door of the car and get it "wheres you're Wii?" my brother says confused
I tell him the story and now we both decided never to go to walmart again!

So I see people standing by there cars, little kids no older than 8 or 9. I ask them when did you get here for a Wii!? They say that there mommies got here at 5:00 in the morning and waited for them than bought them 3 extra controllers and 5 games... I want to punch those little spoiled brats so bad but my brother drives off before I can get out of the car!!!!!!!

Long story short walmart has lost 5 customers today. Me, and my brother, my sister and my parents now hate them and will never shot there again not for event a pack of gum.

I am gonna go to Target or Frys tomorrow at 8:00 (Target) 9:00(Fry's) to see if I can get one from a proper retailer.

Well thats just my angry rant...

Yea I was mad at Wal*Mart as I kept calling and asking when the line for the Wii starts and they kept saying 10:00 so my mom calls at 5 till 7:00 and the guys like there is already a line so we drove in and got seat #12 out of 20. And I met a 72 year old lady that loves nintendo and has every nintendo console including the virtual boy and every nintendo power issue. It's amazing who you meet at a launch. But at my Wal*Mart we didn't need tickets we just got in line and when it hit 12:01 we bought it. Mine sold out but I still got one. Wii!

Sometime life just sucks. It's either get over it or sulk in your anger. It's best to get over it, two reason; first is that there will be more Wiis on the way so this isn't your only chance; secondly is that what's the point in being angry over something you had no control over?

it was a nice 4 hours sit at my walmart, number 18 out of 20 systems baby, yea! got there at 6 and loitered till they announced that wii line would be at layaway at 7:40, but the people i was hanging around alredy knew that so we were the first bunch waiting. then another 4 hour wait till release with a good group of people, wasnt bad!

I would have called or got there way early. My freind's left at 5 on Friday to start camping. And I was on there on and off and then there all today. The only thing I'm mad at Wal mart for is keeping that nifty Wii sticker the lady didn't put it in my bag.

also not to be rude or anything but did you actually expext to arrive 15 minutes before launch and actually get a console in all honesty?i waited almost 6 hours to get mine and there were people who got there 12 hours before i did! they way our walmart did it was they announced where the line was at 7:40 and let people in through the rope at 8 first twenty got the 20 consoles they had

I have a worse Wii story so I hear there are 15 spots left at walmart so I go to my car and my battery is dead, then I get a jump. I get there and they say they have 29 wiis and I was 21st in line. Then it turns out they have 20 so I get jipped all around and Im about ready to kill something

i got to my target around 6:30 and it openes at 8 i was spot 33 out of 69 but i have to wait till christmas to get it cause my little sister has to belive in santa.

My expirience was amazing! Target is the best. They gave me all the info I needed, had a security guard the entire time, even gave the line freaking coffee and popcorn. The people infront of us had a dog, and we talked to them, and the people behind us were also cool, and one of them turned out to be a professional chellist, taught in the fourth grade by my friend's mom! What a small world.

I got to Best Buy about 12 hours early, after being told that someone was in line already, and a lot of people were in the store. So I ran up there and wouldn't you know it, I was first in line

I arrived at Best Buy an hour this morning before they started handing out tickets and got the last Wii

(45 out of 45). I then proceded to go to Toys R Us to snag the last extra Nunchuck attachment.

Now if you'll excuse me, I must get back to my Wii

Every Wii thing is gonig like hot cakes........or a hot chick who digs geeks. I found a copy of red steel at the second store i went to. Thats a hard game to get used to.

I don't believe this story in the least. The four Wal-Mart's I've been to so far (going to Missouri for Thanksgiving.), I've asked about tickets for game systems, and they say that their systems were for pre-order, and surplus was first come, first served.
