Sneaking around games -VS- Blast everything games

Post by benheck »

Since someone mentioned Metal Gear Solid/Splinter Cell (which always make me think of Ninja Turtles), I thought this would be a good poll to put up. The only "sneak around carrying 3 bullets and a box" game I ever beat was Metal Gear Solid 1, whereas I buy and beat pretty much every big FPS that comes out. But that's just me. I just finished Far Cry, which I thought was a pretty good mix, allowing you to do either. But what do YOU think?

Going in guns blasing is always my favorate. If I really wanted to so that sneak around stuff I'd be a better sniper.

I like both genres a lot, but I do enjoy the sneaking games a little bit more.

For me, the feeling of playing the original Doom and Dark Forces brings back such fond memories, and when Halo 2 comes out, it's all gonna go to the next level. So definitely FPS.

I enjoy games like UT. I LOVE the Rocket Launcher and Redeemer, but I also like being a "camper" with a good old sniper rifle.
Warranty-Voiding fun!
