multiple questions about radica

hi im thinking i might make a portable genesis from a radica which i will buy and i have a few questions;
1. does it run on batteries or an ac adapter?
2. does anybody have a link to a site that tells me how to add a cartridge slot(other than bens, its too confusing for a noob like me)
3. does it work with all games except those using eeprom?

1. it runs off of 4 batteries but has the option of using a wall adapter
2. I don't know of any other sites that have it
3.im pretty sure it will not run bigger games. hopefully somebody else can confirm this
