When I got into console video games in my preteen years, back in gen6, I had a PS2, Gamecube, and Xbox. This time around, I have an Xbox 360, and I'll be getting a PS3, Wii, and 360HD-DVD player. I also will get a DS Lite and PSP. Fanboyism is stupid. I like unrestricted access to all games, and the only way to do that is to own all the major systems and handhelds.

So, instead of choosing fanboyism, I've chosen omnigamerism. An omnigamer never even considers not getting all of the game systems as soon as possible. And who cares who you support, there will be at least one exclusive game on each system that you will want.

Also, has anyone else noticed that a big chunk of the games for the PS3 that people are hyping about have a number <= 3 in them? As in sequel numbers?

Anyways, I think anyone who buys a PS3 for full price is an idiot. But, I've given up on trying to convince people otherwise, PS fanboyuerism is just unbearable. It's like trying to convert Scientologists. I'm just going to sit back and laugh at all of the people who female of the dog species about how much of a rip off their PS# is, and reap the benefits of having to mod AA's into used up PS3 controllers.

boy if you think THEY'RE idiots check out all the people buying japanese ps3s at crazy high jacked up prices. in chinatown 20gb ps3s run 900 to 1100 dollars an the 60 gig goes between 1200 and 1500 from what i have seen. AND THEY ACTUALLY SELL. its a sad state of things especialy since there will likely be between 150 and 200k ps3s for the US launch, not the puny 400k they said before
