Launch Lines

When a new console launches a lot of times you see poople lined up for days to get thier hands on it the 1st night its out. Usually a new console is released in late fall, closer to Winter. So I ask you this....

Would you beable to stand outside a store for days on end just to get a game console in the freezing weather?

I couldnt do it, not because of the weather but because I would end up being bored, when I get bored bad things happen.

I've never bought a game system on launch day. The closest that I've come was when I bought the Game Boy Advance the Saturday after it was released, as I was going on a trip the following week. But usually I wait about a year until I buy a new system. Now that the hardware is becoming even more unreliable, I see no incentive to immediately buy the system, since the launch consoles are probably the most prone to developing problems.

Well I was gonna camp out for the PS3 with a freind just for the fun of it but I'm sick. So I will only be camping out for the Wii.

Well thats oly part of it. I would go but my mom wont let a sick kid camp out in the cold for a console.

Yes I know, I meant when it was released last year. I thought the launch titles for it were crap.

For those intending to camp out, make sure you be careful: some people have been robbed at gunpoint while waiting for the PS3.

I could do it but thats b/c I'm a Boy Scout and camping outside in cold weather with nothing to do is only bad if you have no one to talk to. I'll have to wait in line to get some Wii games but thats it. I'll also have my fighter knife in pocket just in case.
