spinnig Problem
One of my little brothers broke off the little black thing on the mother board to tell the dreamcast if it was closed right I want to know can I take the one off of a psone and put it on in rplacement or is ther an even better way without messing up my psone.
Yeah that should work. Becareful when soldering don't want to fry the Dreamcast.
And Rellizate, don't make pointless posts.

I'm not sure, if he's talking about the actual switch that tells the system the lid is down, then bridging the connection, as Rellizate suggested, is one way to get around it. I'd personally wire up a normal switch (I'm bad with technical names) and just switch it off, then back on, after changing discs for multi-disc games. Wouldn't have to cannibalize your PSOne that way.
Well if it's not the switch, the only other thing it could be woudl be that the hook that catches so the lid stays shut broke off. If that's the case you have three options. One is to just use something like a book/paperweight to hold it down or just tape. The other is if you have the hooked end still just glue it back on, use superglue or some kind that bonds well with plastic. Three woudl be to go on ebay and buy a new case, and transplant the whole system.
