gba MODs

I recently picked up a copy of Legend of zelda FSA for GCN and i was playing with my buds. we were in an hour and i realized i was the only one with out a GBA sp and i coudent see worth crap.

i was wondering if there is a way to mod a GBA to be backlit. i have a design drew up. email me to see it.

I noticed that the LEDs would run down the battery life so they would have their own batteries and a switch.

i want to know how to do it.

The Afterburner, but they don't make those anymore. The SP is actually based off the Afterburner's design. Go out and buy another SP now!

You could sell the gba. I know that a 3mm led requires 3 volts to run if that's any help.

i dont want to sell it
why buy a sp when you just can buy a regular GBA some Light Emiting Diodes some wire and batteries and you would have the same effect.

even T1 leds won't fit right in the gba. The only conventional way is to find an afterburner.

yeah im sure you can rig up a led in the back of that screen if you need to theres a bit of room back there.. and you might want to look at how much room one of those afterburner replacment cases give you.

There are no more Afterburner kits for sale, check Ebay for a pre-modded one, or buy a broken SP and try to put the screen in the GBA.

xinga.com has them for sale, but it'd be cheaper to actually sell the gba and get a sp than pay for the total cost from them.

i use it more than my sp and ive been fixing it up so its all yeah good and crap i love this things d-pad its better than any controler ive used
i use tactile butons and a glob of glue in the middle of the pad so to ancor and lift the middle its so nice
