Dreamcast problem

Hi(i decided to post it here too because ive heard the dreamcast forum is dead)

I bought a Dreamcast today for cheap with all the coards 1 control and Street Fighter III (although it is really scratched and i doubt it will work), when I plugged the control into the first port it does not work at all. I have also used the same control on a friends Dreamcast and it works flawlessly. Is it possible that it might me something in the console or the port itself?

You'll need to open up your DC and replace a resistor. Not too bad.

thanks for the help, I'll be sure to go to Radio Shack tomorrow and buy one and post the results

I replaced the resistor today and the Dreamcast works good now[/code]
