6-30, depending on quality settings, though I don't own a play-yan, so I cannot verify. 30 sounds awfully high, but enough sources agree.atari2600a wrote:What about on the Play-Yan?

You've got to be kidding. That barely qualifies as a movie over a slideshow!m3 movie framerate is 10FPS.
I've been looking into this: http://www.gameyeeeah.com/catalog/produ ... ucts_id=42
The SuperCard Lite.

you're kidding right? the supercard uses pirated gen1 gbamp software in its firmware. the m3 is 3rd gen gbamp. I have both supercard sd and m3 sd, and there is no comparison. the framerate is the same in both, but there is blockiness in the gen1 that is much better in gen3. though if you're looking at that specific model, you'll probably just use moonshell anyway--but it's hardly fair to compare moonshell on the DS to gbamp on the GBA.teraflop122 wrote:You've got to be kidding. The SuperCard Lite.
supercard has one huge advantage though, compressed roms. most 4mb gba roms fit in just over 1mb, m3 can't do that, but it would be a lie to call supercard a better product.
as for the 30fps claim on the play-yan, I strongly suspect that 30fps is low quality black and white. I don't think the gba has nearly enough power for 30fps at full resolution and color.
