Microsoft xna studio.
Well I hear microsoft is selling a program soon that allows you to make your own games. Myself think this is pretty cool. (I might even learn to program for this) Anybody here buying it? (Or using the freeway?)

Hmm... Kind of looks like a friendly interface for C# and the DirectX SDK. Interesting. I bet it will be a lot easier to use than C# Express, because it sounds like a more drag-and-drop tool aimed at "Joe six-pack".
Microsoft actually did something good for a change by giving away development tools. It really opens the doors to "the rest of us" (People who didn't want to plunk down the cash for VB .NET or didn't want to figure out how to code for DirectX.) Hopefully they will have an "Express" version of XNA as well.
VB 2005 Express is fun to play with, too. I've already thrown together a couple tray apps, one of which is useful!

<a href="http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/">Visual Studio .net Express 2005</a>
EDIT: *reads post* So it's aimed at Joe six-pack's nerdy brother-in-law?
