The other day I was sifting through goodwill looking for anything good (I found some Styx singles!) when i came across Sonic 2 for Genesis in a VHS-like box and labled on the box and cart "Not for resale". What could it mean and is it worth anything?
EDIT: I found a pic on the intarweb:
"Not for resale" is printed, not a sticker, and it appears on the cartridge label too.

I think that's a pack-in game, and the sticker was there to keep store owners from removing the game and selling it seperate from the system, while selling the console alone at the bundle pack's MSRP.
As far as I can tell it's pretty common; mine has it too.

I have no Idea
and I have 1 of those cartridges, I have 2 regular ones
Yes the carts that have the "not for resale" are from bundles of the systems. Gen 1 came with Sonic and Gen 2 came with Sonic 2. So they are dirt common and not worth more than you would pay.
